Frequently Asked Questions
The process typically takes about 3 weeks (or less) to complete but depends on the family's availability. Please let us know ahead of time if there are deadlines to keep in mind.
At present we only offer assessment services, however we provide a path for your family to start and curate referrals and recommendations based on your family's needs.
This will depend on your insurance coverage, deductible, patient age, and if you're paying out of pocket, but it can range from $1,000 to $2,000. Please see our services pages for more information.
Anyone coming to the office should have a primary concern of autism. If during the assessment process, it appears that your child does not have autism, we will let you know but we can also diagnose your child if they have an intellectual disability, learning disability, ADHD, etc. We may also refer you for additional testing or genetic testing.
You can view our appointment process here. Your first appointment is Telehealth as the majority of the 1 hr appointment is comprised of background questions; in fact, unless you want your child or teen to be a part of that conversation they do not need to be present. Some teenagers do want to be a part of these conversations. The assessment day is done in person and the last appointment is a 1 hr phone call to go over the Report and recommendations and answer any questions you may have.
Please call or text the Office at (404) 390-1322 and we will email you a link to reset your password.
5 Business days. We need your paperwork submitted at least 5 days before your 1st appointment. This is required so we have time to review your background information to better prepare us for the appointment and verify your insurance. Failure to submit 5 days before your 1st appointment may result in your appointment being rescheduled.
Yes. We see patients of all ages (6 months to 70+ years old). Sometimes we see parents and grandparents of a previously assessed child!
